Socialize or Business...The Uses of Cool Tools

How many new cool tools are out there do you suppose? Many, I'm sure. Which are the easiest to use? Social tools such as Facebook and MySpace are here, yet Tagged is here too. How many "identities" must one create? This blog entry, I hope, will entail information about cool tools used by users and which may be up and coming. Web 2.0 tools are being used in higher education and some K-12. Are they in your schools? (UH, I know, but in other schools you are affiliated with). Please list tools used by yourself, your students, your collegues, or your work and how they are used; social, business, either, or neither. Thank you for your input. Maybe there will be some tools listed you've never heard of that may be YOUR next experience.

haha, facebook is eating my time and myspace is a "advertising mass" in my view.
though it's a great tool for socializing and networking, school holds a very negative attitude towards them.

del.icio.us is super delicious and so as digg.
Huh, Mac version of WEB2.0? I just can't afford it! lol

great post~ =D
Adding you into my facebook friend. Cheers~

Documenting a list of tools is something you'll find very beneficial now and in the future, which is why I'm doing the same thing but with a different focus.

My fav tool: Google.com

Once you know how to search for what you want to know about, it can be a great tool. Most of my IT knowledge has been gained by searching Google for how-to articles.

Many of these tools are new to me. I hope that as I learn about them, I can incorporate them in my school. This is a great way to utilize your blog! You will learn soooo much!
